Freestanding St Brigid’s Cross in blue and green fused glass.

St Brigid is a patron saint of Ireland.  Traditionally in Irish homes, a St Brigid’s Cross could often be found hanging above the front door. Those who walked over the threshold were thereby blessed by St Brigid. Presented in a gift box with a display stand and St Brigid’s Blessing enclosed.

Each one is made individually, so no two are exactly the same.

Made in Monaghon by Grace Brennan of King Forge Glass.

King Forge Glass is a busy workshop, where the kiln is kept going, fusing glass into shapes large and small, in every colour of the rainbow. Grace gets her inspiration from the studio window which reveals miles and miles of unspoilt rural landscape, covering all the drumlins of Co. Monaghan, and much of Co. Cavan beyond.
