Glass Suncatcher - Shamrock

This quirky shamrock sun catcher is made with three leaves, previously fired to include some sparkling aventurine glass. The shamrock sits on a transparent background, measuring approx. 6cm. 

Around the shamrock are a few golden spots of glass, to reflect our Irish gold, white and green flag. The finished piece is drilled, and hangs from golden ribbon. 

Made in Monaghon by Grace Brennan of King Forge Glass.

King Forge Glass is a busy workshop, where the kiln is kept going, fusing glass into shapes large and small, in every colour of the rainbow. Grace gets her inspiration from the studio window which reveals miles and miles of unspoilt rural landscape, covering all the drumlins of Co. Monaghan, and much of Co. Cavan beyond.
